Membership at University Park United Methodist Church

Every Sunday in worship our Pastor says, “whoever you are, whatever you believe or question or doubt, you are welcome here.” We mean that. We want you with us in worship for as long as you want to be here. Some people choose to take the next step and formally affiliate with us as full church members.

Being a church member means that you choose to commit to this faith community – one where you are loved as your whole self, and where you can grow spiritually by taking responsibility for our church’s future, serving, studying, and living the faith together. A church is far from the only community we’re part of, but we hope it’s an important one, providing a foundation for the other parts of your life.

Every couple of months, we schedule a group meeting to discuss church membership and whether it’s right for you. Attending the group does not obligate you to anything. We hope it answers questions.
