What Should I Expect in Worship?
Our two Sunday worship services begin at 9AM in Wasser Chapel and 11AM in our main Sanctuary. Nursery care is available for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old from 9:30AM-12:15PM each Sunday morning.
We feature contemporary and traditional Christian music, and our sermons last from 15 – 20 minutes. We love having children with us in worship, and we provide activity packets for them if they’re older than nursery age.
We’re very much a ‘come as you are’ congregation. People dress in anything from suits or dresses to t-shirts and shorts, and we’ll have coffee and refreshments before and after worship in our lobby. We’ll be glad to see you!
Holy Communion
United Methodists offer an open communion table. We believe that Jesus would turn no one away, and so we invite all regardless of age or church affiliation to receive the Sacrament with us on the first Sunday of each month.
Parking
If you drive by our church, don’t be deterred by what looks like a lack of parking. We make it work. Our main parking lot is on the North side of the church. Handicap parking is available off Warren, the street directly south of the church. On-street parking is available throughout the neighborhood, and we also have permission to use 100 spaces on Sunday mornings in the University of Denver’s parking garage across University Boulevard.
