Membership at U Park
Every Sunday in worship we say, “no matter who you are, whatever you believe or question or doubt, you are welcome here.” We mean that. We want you with us in worship for as long as you want to be here. Sometimes, people choose to take the next step and formally affiliate with us as full church members.
Being a church member means that at least in this chapter of your life, you choose to commit to this faith community – one where you are loved as your whole self, and where you can grow spiritually by taking responsibility for our church’s future, serving, studying, and living the faith together. A church is far from the only community we’re part of, but we hope it’s an important one, providing a foundation for the other parts of your life.
Every month or so, we schedule a class to meet and discuss church membership and whether it’s right for you. Attending the class does not obligate you to anything. We hope it answers questions.
