When a loved one passes away, it’s of the utmost importance to honor them, celebrate and thank God for their lives, and support one another in our grief. That’s why funerals and memorial services are among the most important things we do here. Our Sanctuary is a beautiful and peaceful space for those moments, and we are honored to support you in your time of loss.
In addition to hosting services here, we offer a transept Columbarium with niches for urns in a wing of our Sanctuary. As the author of the Biblical Book of Hebrews writes, “since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.” Each Sunday when we gather in the Sanctuary for worship those witnesses are with us, and we celebrate their presence.
